Inanna and the Huluppu Tree

Inanna and the Huluppu Tree is the first myth believed to be written down in human history.  This 18 minute film tells the story of Inanna, Sumerian Goddess of Love, in her struggle against the demon Lilith to save the Huluppu Tree for her throne as Queen of Heaven and Earth.  Filmed with natural light in HD video by cinematographer Julia Fuller the film has no dialogue in the tradition of the “silent” films from the dawn of moving picture history. Original score composed by film maker Molly Axtmann.
